Xu and Du attend the second plenary session held by Hunan delegation

        Rednet(Changsha)On the afternoon of March 5, Hunan delegation held its second plenary session in Great Hall of the People in Beijing to deliberate on government work report. According to the arrangement of the conference, the meeting was open to Chinese and foreign media. Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee Xu Shousheng and Governor of Hunan Province Du Jiahao were present at the meeting.

        Commissioned by the state council,Party secretary and director of the state industrial and commercial administration Zhang Mao attended the meeting to hear opinions and answer inquiries.Head of Hunan delegation Xu Shousheng,Deputy head of Hunan delegation Du Jiahao were present at the meeting, accompany by Yu Laishan, Chen Zhaoxiong and Xie Yong.

        Focusing on the government work report, Xu Shousheng put forward two suggestions:1. Making more explicit the strategic position and collaboration capabilities of “City Cluster in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River”in national regional development by taking the deployment of the Yangtze river economic belt into consideration; adding more pilot test platform of reform and development in  Chang-Zhu-Tan city cluster and more opportunities of development in Dongting lake ecological economic zone.2.Further improving policies support and fiscal transfer in poverty relief of concentrated destitute areas, food production, innovation, entrepreneurship, the people's livelihood and so on.

        Du Jiahao said that “four big plate” and “the three support belt”is clear and forceful, it will vigorously promote balanced economic development between regions in our country. He suggested that central city group construction should be planed at the national level in the process of strengthening new-type urbanization and accelerating central and western region development. Major infrastructure construction such as high speed railway, highway, aviation, navigation channels, water conservancy in central and western regions should be further strengthened, great efforts should be made in investment and domestic demand potential in central and western regions.
