Xu Shousheng: to integrate Hunan into Yangtze River economic belt

    In the afternoon of March 30, the meeting of Hunan provincial Standing Committee has been presided by Xu Shousheng, the secretary of the Hunan provincial committee and director of the Standing Committee of Hunan provincial people's congress, to deliberate and discuss the Suggestion and Program on the Implementing of the State Council's Instruction for Promoting the Development of Yangtze River Economic Belt Relying on the Golden Water Channel. It was a meeting that studying and implementing the spirit of national construction of spiritual civilization and the volunteering service of studying Leifeng, as well as the spirit of the 23th conference of party's construction through national colleges, so as to research and deploy the related work.

    The construction of Yangtze River economic belt is an essencial challenge and opportunity for Hunan's development under the New Normal. With the official introduction of State Council's Instruction and the next plan for the national Yangtze River economic belt, there would be a great significance for the national economic pattern. Hunan has the location advantage of “One Belt and One Part”, so that it should enhance the general awareness of opportunity, duty, and crisis, to initiatively and comprehensively integrate and improve the economy in Hunan, and built the “new engine” of provincial development based on the Yangtze River economic belt.
