Rednet (Changsha):The Meeting of Hunan Provincial Committee of CPC for Promoting Reform of Democracy and Legal Work of Hunan Province priorities was held in Changsha, on April 7. Li Weiwei, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Minister of United Front Work Department and Head of the special team of provincial Committee for promoting democratic and legal reforms, attended the meeting. She stressed that the promotion of democracy and legal work should be focused on clarifying the priorities of the work, advancing measures, strengthening cohesive work force and pragmatically promoting the development of extensive multi-institutional political consultation.
The meeting concluded the previous work with further measures of next period of work in promoting democratic and legal system, and the meeting also reviewed "the Plan on Party Consultations of Hunan Provincial Committee of CPC in 2015".
Li Weiwei emphasized that the focuses should be put on major works for promoting democracy and legal system reform with clear procedure, plans and the effective measures. A project group should established to supervise the performance of the work, and the performance appraisal system should also be established, the unfinished tasks have to be traced for responsibilities, in order to ensure the promotion work be done, with evaluation inspection follow suit.
