Du Jiahao meets president of Corning Incorporated’s China Operation Li Fang

　　In the morning of April 28, Governor and Deputy Secretary of Hunan CPC Du Jiahao met president of Corning Incorporated’s  China Operation and its general manager Li Fang.

　　American Corning Incorporated is a market leader in such areas as global optical communication, display technology, life sciences and special materials and so on. It is a supplier of special glass and ceramic material applied to LCD.
　　

　　Du Jiahao said that, Hunan has solid industry foundation and rich science and education resources, so its creative culture industry develops rapidly. In recent years, Hunan works hard in readjusting industrial structure, focusing on innovation driven factors to speed up the cultivation and growth of emerging industry and the transformation and upgrading of traditional superior industry. At present, Hunan makes great efforts to be the integrated transport hub of the central region, which will further enlarge its location advantage and promote its rise of middle.
