Ten Paintings by Hunan Teens Selected to Be Presented at Milan Expo 2015

　　The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Hunan Sub-council released on May 3 that ten paintings by Hunan teenagers were awarded in Beijing for the collection of teen paintings for Milan Expo 2015. Some of these paintings will be collected by the organizing committee of the China Pavilion and will be presented as gifts for visiting dignitaries.

　　Hunan has taken an active role in the activity and selected 103 outstanding paintings from 300 entries to the competition.

　　Milan Expo 2015 runs from May 1 to October 31. The China Pavilion, covering an area of 4,590 square meters, is the second largest self-built overseas Expo pavilion. As one of the eight key Chinese provinces and cities participating in the expo, Hunan will present a cultural week themed on “Dongting: a fertile land of fish and rice” from June 19 to 23.
