Xu Shousheng meets with Germany business delegation

Rednet ( Changsha ): On the morning of May 13, Xu Shousheng,Secretary of Hunan provincial CPC and director of the Standing Committee of NPC, met with the business delegation from Germany led by Hans Jacobs. Xu accepted the interview of Germany Business Daily on Hunan’s socio-economic development, investment environment and circumstance of opening up.

Xu Shousheng said that Hunan and Germany have increased the frequent cultural exchanges, economic and trade cooperation in the context of the further development of Sino-German relations, in recent years. Hunan and Hesse of Germany have deepening friendly relations. By the end of last year, the projects of Germany investment reached to 100 in number, with actual investment of 970 million dollars. Automobile producing and other excellent companies from Germany have entered Hunan including Volkswagen, Bosch, Siemens, and Messer etc. Hunan also has a number of companies investing and building factories in Germany.

Xu said that Hunan has kept healthy economic developments in recent years, with the improvement of transport infrastructures, regional advantages on industry categories, good basic of industries and lower costs. At present, the strategies of "One Belt and One Road’, Yangzi River Economic Belt and regional strategies of Southern Yangzi River city group offer Hunan a series of beneficial policies and opportunities for economic developments and overseas investments in many fields.
