Du Jiahao meets SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu

　　Hunan Daily(May 14)  In the afternoon of May 14, Governor and Deputy Secretary of Hunan CPC Du Jiahao met in Changsha with a delegation led by SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu.

　　Du Jiahao appreciated State Intellectual Property Office for supporting Hunan so long, especially the application and construction of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan National Independent Innovative Demonstration Zone. He said that, innovation, talent and knowledge are key actors to promote the development of an area and enterprise. Hunan attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights so the number of the patents is increasing and the quality is improved and a large number of scientific achievements have been made such as super-hybrid rice and Tianhe ii super computer. Huan will make full use of the construction of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan National Independent Innovative Demonstration Zone to vigorously implement the strategy of development driven by innovation. And Hunan will further enhance creation, utilization, protection and management of intellectual property rights to promote the healthy and continual development of provincial economy and society. He expects State Intellectual Property Office will continue to guide and support Hunan.

　　Shen Changyu said that, Hunan have made great progress in creating, transfering, promoting, protecting intellectual property rights. The State Intellectual Property Office will strongly support Hunan in building up a strong province by enhancing the protection of intellectual property rights to make it as the solid foundation of Hunan’s innovation.
