Hunan Daily(May 18) In the afternoon of May 18, Governor and Deputy Secretary of Hunan CPC Du Jiahao met in Changsha with a delegation led by Shanghai Airport (Group) president Li Derun and party secretary Zhang Xuebing.
Du Jiahao welcomed the guests to investigate Hunan. He said that, at present, in order to better participate in national strategy of “One Belt And One Road”, the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Changjiang River economic zone, Hunan continues to improve transportation infrastructure of railways, highways, waterways, to attach great importance to aviation industry development by accelerating the construction of the second runway of Changsha Huanghua International Airport and middle and low speed maglev rail transit between Huanghua airport to high-speed rail station. Hunan actively opens international airline to Southeast Asia, Europe, the United States and Japan to construct a comprehensive transportation hub of central China. In this way, more investment can be attracted and provincial advantage industry and resources can be exported abroad. Well-capitalized and advanced, Shanghai Airport (Group) has abundant experience in airport construction, management and operation which can be learned and copied by Hunan. Du expected the two sids could deepen cooperation in more fields to achieve mutual benefit and development.
Li Derun said, as Hunan has distinct location advantage of “One Belt And One Road”, Shanghai Airport (Group) will implement national strategy of central government and make further cooperation with Huna in overall arrangement of airline, airport construction, security and aviation logistics to speed up Hunan’s aviation industry and to promote the provincial economy and society.
