Hunan gov uses video system for deploying regional work

      On the morning of May 26, a distant video conference was held in Changsha by Governor Du Jiahao and mayors of 14 cities and areas of Hunan Province of Du Jiahao. The special meeting marked that the remote video systems were functionally operated for the provincial work of top officials in Hunan. Du Jiahao required that Hunan provincial government should improve the work style by using new informational technology in order to save administrative costs, with efficiency and better government efforts to speed up the modernization of government administration system and administration abilities.

     The agreement of strategic cooperation was signed by Hunan provincial government and ZTE to promote the construction of information system and of other areas in Hunan province, in December of 2014. Setting up Hunan provincial video system is one of the major projects for dispatching job of municipal governors of the concrete cooperation.

     "in the past, most time were spent on the way to the provincial government, " said Govenor Du. He said that the future work of regional governments will be reported monthly through this video system, in economic situation analysis, and flood drought prevention, emergency rescue, etc. Top officials of Hunan provincial government and related officials in cities and regions of Hunan can communicate by exchanging and scheduling in online live meetings , with better administrative efficiency and less administrative cost; therefore, this video system is beneficial to save more energy on practical work .

       On this video conference, Du communicated with regional officials by deploying the work on economic situation from January to April, flood control and safety, poverty alleviation, the activity of business expo of Hong Kong Week, salary adjustments of civil servants and other current major work.
