One Mln Yuan Prize for photography won by teacher from Xiangtan

      Rednet (Xiangtan): The highest individual prize in the world was released on June 12, in 2015 Border Town Global Photographic Competition June 12, in Fenghuang County, Hunan. Wang Bin, a young teacher of photography from Hunan engineering college, won the one million Yuan prize of Diamond Collection Award in the competition by his series of photos named as “the Impression of Border Town”.

     Border Town, a large live-action drama deprived from Shen Cong-Wen’s novel, shows beautiful songs and passionate dances interpreting the mystical Western Hunan since its debut on April 1st. 2015 Border Town Global Photographic Competition has been the only competition designed for a show in China with the prizes of 2 million Yuan in total, which required that all photos of the competition should closely related to this show. According to statistics, the competition has 1664 competitors, 14,124 photos with 6 million votes for the results.
