Secretary Xu Delivers Army Day Greetings to Veteran Cadres

Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Xu Shousheng visited Red Army veterans, veteran cadres and their widows, as well as workers for veteran cadres at the Hunan Military Region Wulipai Retired Cadres Station on the morning of July 29. He also expressed Army Day greetings to the People’s Liberation Army forces and the armed police officers stationed in Hunan, dependents of revolutionary martyrs, wounded or disabled soldiers, retired military officers, demobilized army men, and paramilitary militia.
 
He required that we should always remember historic contributions veteran cadres have made and spiritual wealth they have passed down. We should also show our respect and care to them as always. He urged that military units and civilian parties at various levels should thoroughly complement policies and guidelines on veteran cadres work issued by the central government, especially President Xi Jinping’s essential instructions under the new situation, in an attempt to enthusiastically handle concrete and difficult affairs, do good deeds, and provide finest services to them.
