Lotus Roots Harvested in Longshan County

　　Photos taken on Sept. 16 show villagers are digging lotus roots in the farmlands in Zhongnan Village, Shigao Town, Longshan County. The cultivated area of lotus roots in the county exceeds 4,000 mu (266.7 hectares) this year, with an estimated average yield per mu of 2,000 kilos and an expected return of 500 million yuan.
