Hunan Economic Conference: Comprehensively Structural Reforms

 

　　Hunan Provincial economic work conference is held in Changsha from December 26 to 27 .

　　Rednet (Changsha): Hunan Provincial economic work conference was held in Changsha,from December 26 to 27 for fully implementing the spirit of the Economic Working Conference, central city work of State Council and the spirit of President Xi’s important speech for economic work on the deployment of next year’s economic work and summarizing that of this year. Xu Shousheng, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress and Du Jiahao,deputy secretary of Hunan provincial committee of CPC and governor,made a statement in the conference.

　　Provincial leaders attended the conference, including Sun Jinlong, Li Weiwei, Guo Kailang, Xu Yousheng, Chen Xiangqun, Yi Lianhong, Zhang WenXiong, Fu Kui, Huang Yuejin, Huang Lanxiang, Lin Wu, Yu Laishan et al.

　　The conference pointed out that this year is the last of the " 12th Five-year-plan" , Hunan province has active adapted " new normal" economic development speed to promote steady economic social development, by insisting the spirits of the 3nd, 4th and 5th sessions of 18th CPC National Congress and of President Xi’s speeches . Hunan province’s economy has maintained rapid growth, with deepening reform and structural adjustment, continuous improvement of well-being. The achievements have gained affirmation. Meanwhile, due to various factors and conditions at home and abroad, economic development of Hunan still faces downward pressure of continuous decreasing. The growth of traditional fields is weakened, so Hunan has to positively and effectively cope with the increasing risks, difficulties and problems .

　　The conference mentioned Hunan’s general requirements on the next year’s economic work: to fully implement the spirits of the 3nd, 4th and 5th sessions of 18th CPC National Congress and of President Xi’s speeches;to strengthen and improve CPC’s led on economic work; to set the innovation of green and open development concept according to "five bit one" general layout and "Four Comprehensives" strategy layout; to promote Hunan’s economic growth by implementing the stability of macro policies, accurate industry policies, flexible micro policies, practical reforming policies, and supportive Social policy, with actively adapting to "new normal" economic development by insisting reform, stability growth, adjustable structure for improving people’s livelihood with risk prevention. Hunan should pay close attention to the structural reforming, to transformation upgrading, to foster development new energy, to focus on connotation of Hunan’s development, to strengthen the people’s livelihood, to keep economic run in reasonable pace, to achieve the smooth development of economic and social development, to complete the construction of a well-off society, a rich, beautiful and happy Hunan and to start a new situation in the future.

　　Xu Shousheng said that next year will be the key period of building a well-off society which is the first year of "13th Five-Year Plan". It is also crucial year for advancing structural reforms. He focuses on the analysis of current economic situations, the issues of economic development in Hunan and the potential of Hunan. He pointed out that despite the heavy tasks of next economic structural reform , Hunan province has a long-term rosy economic development due to its foundations, its regional features highlights and development potential advantages, the conditions of good supports for economic continuing growth and the forward situation of economic structure adjustment. Hunan has the completely confidence, capacity, and conditions for the implementing the requirements from State Council.
