湖南在法国买下位于蒙达尔纪雷蒙特列街15号的李石曾故居，源于2014年11月我率领湖南省政府代表团赴法开展交流合作的一次访问。

Hunan governments buying the former residence of Li Shizeng in Montargis is derived from Hunan provincial government delegation’s visit to France in November 2014.

一、 法国重温老一辈革命家赴法勤工俭学的历史

To memorize the work-study history of Chinese old revolutionaries in France

借助法国施耐德集团的参观访问，我们重温了邓小平等老一辈革命家赴法勤工俭学的历史。仅1919年初到1920年底，全国先后有18个省1600多名中国留学生赴法勤工俭学。这些学生中，不仅有赵世炎、蔡和森、向警予、陈延年、陈乔年、刘伯坚、王若飞等革命先烈，还有周恩来、邓小平、陈毅、李富春、聂荣臻、蔡畅、何长工等一大批党和国家领导人。在法勤工俭学的革命先辈中，湘籍人数较多，其中著名的有蔡和森、蔡畅、李立三、向警予、李维汉、李富春、何长工等人。

During our visit to Schneider Group in France, we memorized the Work-study program history of the old revolutionaries in France. During 1919-1920, there were more than 1,600 Chinese overseas students from 18 provinces going to France for work and study, such as Zhao Shiyan, Cai Hesen, Xiang Jingyu, Chen Yannian, Chen Qiaonian, Liu Bojian, Wang Ruofei, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yi, Li Fuchun, Nie Rongzhen, Cai Chang, He Changgong, etc. A great many of the old revolutionaries come from Hunan province, including Cai Hesen, Cai Chang, Li Lisan, Xiang Jingyu, Li Weihan, Li Fuchun, He Changgong, etc.

二、蒙达尔纪是当年中国留法学生最集中、最具代表性的城市

Montargis as the most representative French city with the most Chinese overseas students of the old revolutionaries

法国蒙达尔纪法中友好协会负责人王培文博士告诉我们，蒙达尔纪是当年中国留法学生最集中、最具代表性的城市。她正在和一批中国留学生共同努力，准备将蒙达尔纪建设成为中国留学生早期赴法勤工俭学的纪念地。

Doctor Wang Peiwen, the principal of Sino-French Friendship Association in Montargis, France, told us that, Montargis was the most representative French city with the most Chinese overseas students of the old revolutionaries. She was making efforts with some Chinese overseas students in France to build Montargis as the historic site of earlier Chinese overseas students studying and working in France.

三、 把李石曾先生的故居建立成一座纪念馆，展现中国革命的珍贵历史

Former residence of Li Shizeng to be built as a memorial hall to display Chinese revolutionary history in France

李石曾先生是当年赴法勤工俭学的倡议者和领导者。1903年，李石曾先生最先来到蒙达尔纪求学，并先后邀请孙中山、蔡元培、周恩来等来此访问或讲学。1912年李石曾先生关于帮助中国留学生赴法勤工俭学的倡议也是在蒙达尔纪提出来的，赴法勤工俭学学生当中，约有三百名在这里学习、工作，是当年中国留学生交流、活动的重要场所，包括李维汉、李富春、李立三、蔡畅、向警予等革命先辈。

Mr. Li Shizeng is the advocator and leader of the Chinese old revolutionaries studying and working in France. In 1903, Mr. Li Shizeng came to Montargis for study, and then invited Sun Yat-sen, Cai Yuanpei, Zhou Enlai, etc. to visit Montargis. In 1912, Mr. Li Shizeng advocated to help Chinese overseas students studying and working in France in Montargis. There were about 300 Chinese overseas students studying and working here; the former residence of Li Shizeng was the key location for them at that time, including Li Weihan, Li Fuchun, Li Lisan, Cai Chang, Xiang Jingyu, etc.

四、 推动湖南和蒙达尔纪的红色旅游，增进中文化交流

To promote red tourism of Hunan province and Montargis, as well as cultural exchange between China and France

我一边听她介绍，一边也在思考，这件事情很有意义。一方面，可以充分利用、推广湖南及全国各地丰富的红色资源，让法国人民更多地了解中国，了解中国共产党人不屈不挠带领中国人民走向民族复兴的历程。蔡和森、蔡畅、李立三、向警予等人在湖南都有纪念馆，如果我们共同努力，把湖南的纪念馆与法国的纪念馆联系起来，就能够更好地反映这些革命先辈成长、斗争的历史。另一方面，还可以开发旅游线路。蒙达尔纪距离巴黎不到一百公里，如果把蒙达尔纪与我省华天集团在巴黎购置的“中国城”联系起来发展旅游，让中国游客既可以到法国观光，又能参观革命遗迹，还能带动“中国城”的发展。

It is meaningful to buy the former residence of Li Shizeng. For one hand, it can promote Hunan and nationwide red tourism, and let more French people know about Chinese revolutionary history. Since there are memorial halls for Cai Hesen, Cai Chang, Xiang Jingyu, etc., we can connect Hunan memorial halls with the French memorial hall to better present the growth history of the old revolutionaries. For another hand, since Montargis is only less than 100km from Paris, we can joint Montargis tourism with Chinatown in Paris purchased by Huatian Group of Hunan Province, so that Chinese tourists can enjoy visiting Paris and Montagris at the same time.

五、 顺利购置李石曾先生的故居，惠及中法人民

这一项目，由华天集团以项目法人身份出面购置，一切进行得很顺利。2014年12月底，双方签订了购房合同，总价32万欧元，折合每平方米1万元人民币左右。去年6月份，正式完成产权交割。目前，纪念馆装修即将完成，陈列布展方案经中央党史办批准后，预计今年8月可以正式对外开放。据了解，在纪念馆的带动下，所在小镇的房产销售开始变旺，一些华人正酝酿去小镇开中餐馆，国内也有艺术家已经在那里购房筹划艺术展。正如我们所料想的那样，蒙达尔纪市政府对所有的工作都很支持，准备拿出更多的场所，让我们刻上铭牌或雕塑，以这段历史来重现小城的辉煌，吸引更多游客。

Huatian Group buys the residence smoothly. In the late December 2014, the purchase contract was signed with the total price of 320,000 euros (the unit price at about RMB 10,000 Yuan per square). In June 2015, the final closing of property right was done. Now, the memorial hall will complete decoration and be opened to the public in August 2016. It’s said that, driven by the memorial hall building, real estate sales around become popular, and some Chinese consider setting up restaurants there, and domestic artists plan art exhibition in Montargis.
