Guiyang to Be Built into Wind Power Capital in Hunan

Guiyang County has developed new energy industry centering on wind power based on the idea of green growth and transformation in recent years. It now has four major wind power plants built at Luhejin, Shuiyuan, Laixi, and Tiantang Mountain with a total installation capacity of 176 thousand kw. The county ranks No.1 in Hunan in terms of investment scale and construction speed of wind power projects with a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan. It has generated more than one billion kwh of electricity by the end of this June, achieving over 600 million yuan in sales. The photos above show the wind generator sets at Luhejin Wind Power Plant, Heye Town, Guiyang County. The second phase of the plant has been under trial operation of grid connection on July 10, 2016.
