　　天井寨隶属湖南省新晃侗族自治县贡溪镇四路村，距离新晃县城60公里。

　　Rednet (Huaihua): Tianjing Village is under the jurisdiction of Silu Village, Gongxi Town, Xinhuang Dong Automous County, Hunan, 60 km away from Xinhuang County.

　　走近天井寨民居楼，家家户户整整洁洁的庭院，鳞次栉比居住宽敞布局合理的干栏式木楼，构成了优美和谐的环境，空气中飘着腊肉和米酒的陈香，如同远古缥缈的歌声在游荡。寨中有乘凉树、风水树，远处山连山，岭连岭，是漫山遍野的山林松海，构成了千山如屏，万峰流翠，如诗如画，美不胜收的绿色天地。

　　Tianjing Villagers live in row upon row of spacious and well-structured pile-dwelling wooden houses with clean and tidy courtyards. Decent flavor of preserved meat and rice wine is gone with the wind in the air. Tianjing Village is a picturesque green land, dotted with mountains and trees, including pine trees, shady trees, Fengshui trees, etc.

　　源起于元代，有着六百多年历史的侗族傩戏咚咚推和上百座干栏式木屋，居然完整地在天井寨保存了下来，不能不令人称奇惊讶。2006年，天井寨侗族傩戏咚咚推列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录，各地傩戏都是由巫师演唱，唯独咚咚推由普通村民演唱，它是一种村民参与的全民艺术。傩戏是天井寨文化中绵延未断的历史文化，在这里，除了咚咚推之外，还有侗族闹年锣，侗族垒词，刀梯舞狮等非物质文化遗产，以及上刀山下火海等神秘的傩技。

　　Originated from the Yuan Dynasty, over 600-year-old Dong Dong Tui (Nuo Opera of Dong People) and hundreds of pile-dwelling wooden houses have been amazingly well-preserved. In 2006, Dong Dong Tui was included in the first national-level intangible cultural heritage list. Generally, Nuo opera is sung by wizards, while Dong Dong Tui is the only Nuo opera form sung by ordinary villagers. Besides Dong Dong Tui, Tianjing Village also has other intangible cultural heritages such as Nao Nian Luo (playing gongs and drums for Spring Festival), Lei Ci (an integrated art form blending literature with music), Dao Ti Wu Shi (lion dance on knife-formed ladder) etc.
