　　黄龙山下的千年瑶寨——庙子源村，瑶族人口站98%，是一个以瑶族为主的少数民族聚居村寨。这里是潇水的发源地，湘江源头，水系丰富。

　　Located at the foot of Huanglong Mountain, Miaoziyuan Village is a 98% Miao people based minority tribe village. With a thousand-year history, Miaoziyuan Village is the headstream of Xiang River.

　　《盘王大歌》是瑶族民间歌谣的集大成者，它集音乐、舞蹈、歌谣于一体，被誉为瑶族的“百科全书”，至今仍在庙子源村活态流传，具有较强的生命力和发展力。72套《歌谣长鼓舞》，迎客、婚嫁、祭祀、耕田、砍树、围猎等生活场景，也是国家级非物质文化遗产，每当客人到来，热情的瑶家人都会拿起手中的长鼓，跳起欢快的长鼓舞，欢迎远道而来的贵客。

　　Panwang Dage, a collection of Yao folk songs, integrates music, dance and songs as a whole, hailed as the encyclopaedia of the Yao nationality. It is still actively handed down in Miaoziyuan Village. Long-Drum Dance Song in 72 sets, listed into national-level intangible cultural heritage, describes varied scenes of life such as welcoming guests, marriage, offering sacrifices to gods or ancestors, ploughing, cutting trees, hunting, etc. When guests arrive, hospitable Yao people will hold up the long drum and dance a cheerful long-drum dance.
