　　红网长沙2月19日讯（时刻新闻记者 廖洁 刘玉先 摄影 李长宏）今天，湖南省海外联谊会第六届理事会第一次会议在长沙召开。省委书记、省人大常委会主任杜家毫出席大会并讲话。会前，省委副书记、省长许达哲，省政协主席李微微会见了出席大会的嘉宾代表。

　　Rednet (Changsha): On February 19, the first meeting, the sixth Council of Hunan Overseas Friendship Association was convened in Changsha. Du Jiahao, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Hunan People's Congress, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Before the meeting,Deputy Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province Xu Dazhe and Chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC Li Weiwei met delegates of honorable guests of the meeting.

　　大会通过了《湖南省海外联谊会章程（修订案）》，选举省委常委、省委统战部部长黄兰香担任省海外联谊会第六届理事会会长，聘请30名海内外知名人士为名誉会长，选举产生副会长、秘书长、常务理事。

　　At the meeting, Constitution for Hunan Overseas Friendship Association (Amendment) was passed; Huang Lanxiang, member of the Standing Committee,the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, was elected as chairman of the sith Council of Hunan Overseas Friendship Association; 30 domestic and overseas prominent figures were employeed as honorary chairman; vice-chairman, secretary-general and executive member of the council were elected out.

　　杜家毫代表省委、省政府对大会的召开表示祝贺，充分肯定和衷心感谢省海联会特别是广大理事、海内外朋友长期以来为服务湖南经济社会发展、促进港澳长期繁荣稳定、推动两岸关系和平发展作出的积极贡献。杜家毫强调，在服务党和国家工作大局中不断展示湖南作为，在助力全省改革发展中充分彰显海联力量，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦、建设富饶美丽幸福新湖南作出更大贡献。全省各级党委、政府和有关部门继续发扬优良传统，强化服务意识，不断开创和丰富海联工作的湖南特色、湖南风格和湖南品牌，真心实意为广大理事和港澳台同胞、海外侨胞来湘发展找机会、办实事、解难题。

　　On behalf of Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Government, Du Jiahao congratulated on the successful holding of the meeting, fully affirmed and heartily thanked Hunan Overseas Friendship Association, especially members of the Council, domestic and overseas friends, for their long-term contribution to promoting Hunan economic social development, prosperous and steady Hong Kong and Macao, peaceful cross-straits development. Du Jiahao emphasized to constantly display Hunan achievements and power of Hunan Overseas Friendship Association, and to make more contribution to building a brand-new prosperous beautiful happly Hunan and realizing a Chinese Dream for the national revival. Hunan Provincial Party Committees, governments and relevant sectors at all levels should constantly enrich Hunan features, Hunan styles and Hunan brands of Hunan Overseas Friendship Association, and create opportunites of development in Hunan for members of the Council, compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and other overseas Chinese.

　　许达哲在会见时说，当前，湖南正处于转型升级、加快发展的重要历史机遇期，真诚希望省海外联谊会充分发挥自身联系广泛、资源丰富的独特优势，多做牵线搭桥、联谊交友的工作，更好地传播湖南声音、讲好湖南故事、宣传湖南形象，努力为湖南加快发展营造良好的外部环境。我们将进一步提高政务服务水平，努力为各位朋友来湘投资兴业创造更加优良的发展环境。

　　Xu Dazhe delivered a speech at meeting delegates of honorable guests that, “Hunan is in the important historic period of transformation and upgrading. Hunan Overseas Friendship Association is hoped to do well in bridging friendship with their own resources and advantages to tell Hunan story, publicize Hunan image and create good external environment for Hunan development. Hunan governments will further improve their governmental service level to create better development environments for your investment and development in Hunan.”
