Parking Lots Set for Shared Bicycles

　　Changsha took a lead in Hunan to put into use its first batch of bicycle parking lots on March 18, 2017. These parking lots are open to both shared bicycles, and private ones.

　　In front of Wanda Plaza, Kaifu District, a bicycle parking lot was set. A signboard with the notice “recommended parking place for public bicycles” was set up nearby a well-marked parking area. Nearly 100 public and private bikes were parked here orderly.

　　Wanda Plaza and ID Mall were designated as the first batch of parking lots for ofo bikes. Four staffs in each parking lot would provide free parking guidance and bike maintenance. The bikes of other bike-lending operators as well as private bikes can also be parked here.

　　The way of building shared bicycle parking lot that will be taken care of by management team is an innovated mode for bicycle-sharing service, is good to raise bicycle use efficiency, and improve bicycle parking. Next, such parking lots will be set in more areas, such as college town in Yuelu District, ofo Changsha manager said.

　　Hunan’s first bicycle-sharing service entered into Hunan University last September. Incomplete statistics shows that, as of this mid-March, there have been nearly 100,000 public bikes in Changsha.
