Zoomlion Industrial Park Project Starts Construction in Belarus

　　The Zoomlion Industrial Park project in China-Belarus Industrial Park started construction in Minsk on the morning of April 15, 2017 (local time). Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir I. Semashko and Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Du Jiahao attended the groundbreaking ceremony and delivered speeches.

　　The Zoomlion project covers an area of 200 mu (13.3 ha.) with a total investment of 50 million US dollars. It will become a localization-based R &D and production base of concrete machinery, engineering lifting machinery, sanitation machinery, and agricultural machinery. Its annual sales revenue is estimated to reach 300 million US dollars.

　　“Belarus and China have continuously deepened friendship and cooperation in recent years to jointly accelerate implementing the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative. And the Zoomlion Industrial Park project is one of the best examples.” Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Semashko said, “We believe that, with the collaborative efforts of both sides, the project outcomes will not only enter the Belarusian market, but also quickly expand to the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eastern European markets.”

　　Hunan Secretary Du remarked that under the general framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Belarus, Hunan will take the Zoomlion Industrial Park project as an opportunity to further enhance cooperation with local government and related parties. Communication and collaboration will be made in equipment manufacturing, energy resources, and transportation to share common interests and achieve a wider range, higher quality, and deeper level of mutual benefits and win-win results.
