Nine firework shows on Orange Isle for national holidays

　　5月1日晚，以《花艳大围山》为主题的焰火晚会在长沙市橘子洲上空华美绽放。

　　The fireworks show on the theme of"Flowers of Daweishan Mountain" make the sky beautiful above Orange Isle, May 1, in Changsha City.

　　本报5月1日讯 今天，长沙市委市政府发布公告， 橘子洲烟花燃放活动今年将从去年的25场调整到9场。

　　According to the announcement of Changsha Municipal Government, the firework shows Orange Chau Fireworks display activities This year will be adjusted from 25 last year to 9.

　　橘子洲烟花燃放活动自2010年开展。2014年烟花燃放场次由最初的每年53场调整到25场。今年又经征求各方面意见建议，将燃放时间限定在国家部分节假日或其他特别节会期间，全年共9场，特别节会安排另行通知。

　　The Fireworks display activities on Orange Isle was adjusted to 25 shows in 2014 from 53 shows in 2010 the initial year of the shows. With various suggestions, government cuts down the firework displaying scheduled to nine national holidays and special occasions in 2017.

　　2017年度橘子洲烟花燃放活动具体时间：1月1日(元旦节)、1月27日(除夕)、2月11日(元宵节)、5月1日(劳动节)、5月30日(端午节)、7月1日(建党节)、8月1日(建军节)、10月1日(国庆节)、10月4日(中秋节)。

　　Orange Isle Fireworks display scheduled in 2017: January 1 (New Year's Day), January 27 (Chinese New Year's Eve), February 11 (Lantern Festival), May 1 (Labor Day), May 30 (Dragon Boat Festival), July 1 (Party a party), August 1 (Army day), October 1 (National Day), October 4 (Mid-Autumn Festival).
