Governor Xu Dazhe Leads Hunan Delegation to Attend Expo Central China 2017

  Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe led a delegation to attend the Expo Central China 2017, to be held in Hefei. On the evening of May 16, he held talks with domestic and overseas businessmen. Vice Governor He Baoxiang and Secretary General Wang Qun were also present.

  Governor Xu thanked the guests for their long-term concern and support for Hunan’s development. Xu stated, “Hunan is now facing great development opportunities: it is implementing innovation-oriented development and the rise of Hunan via opening up strategy; It is giving full play to its geological advantages in the construction of “One Belt and One Zone” (the junction zone of the Yangtze River Open Economic Belt and the Coastal Open Economic Belt and the transitional zone from the eastern coastal areas to the central and western areas); and it is carrying out the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative.”

  “We will strive to build ‘a province of five powers’ (powerful in economy, science and education, culture, ecology, and opening up) and fight to win ‘three battles’ of poverty alleviation, transformation and upgrading, and environmental treatment to build a prosperous happy new Hunan.” Xu added.

  “Hunan welcomes everyone to seek fortune here and assist the province in economic transformation and upgrading, and the integration development of the first, secondary, and tertiary industries,” said Xu. “Hunan government will provide favorable environment and better services for companies seeking development in Hunan.” He said.

  Home and abroad businessmen attended the meeting. They are from Yum China Holdings, Inc., Philips Lighting, Anhui Nanxiang Group, Anhui Jiuding Investment Group, Bidea Technology Industry Group, Futen Environmental Protection and New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Anhui Province. At the meeting, they also introduced their companies and exchanged ideas on commercial trade and logistics, environmentally friendly new materials, and smart home. They believed Hunan has obvious geological advantages and promising development prospects, and are willing to further deepen cooperation with Hunan to achieve win-win results.
