Hunan, SVUCAA Sign Cooperation Memorandum

　　On June 12, 2017, the Hunan Science and Technology Department (HSTD) and the Silicon Valley United Chinese Alumni Association (SVUCAA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

　　Tong Xudong, the HSTD Leading Party Members' Group secretary and president of the Hunan Industrial Technology Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, and SVUCAA Chairman Ma Xiangjiang signed the agreement.

　　The two parties committed to work on Hunan scientific and technological innovation, and industrial development in the following areas:

　　- attracting American university, research institution, and corporate innovation resources;

　　- promoting sci-tech personnel exchange and cooperation;

　　- setting up a Hunan sci-tech service center in Silicon Valley;

　　- developing distance education; and,

　　- organizing sci-tech delegation visits.
