Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Training and Innovation Center Opens

A number of intangible cultural heritage-themed works are on display at the Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Training and Innovation Center.

  The preliminary rounds of the First Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Entrepreneurship and Innovation Contest kicked off on June 23, 2017. The Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Training and Innovation Center opened the same day. Many inheritors showcased their craftsmanship at the opening ceremony.

  Up till now, more than 300 entries were received.

  As China’s first intangible cultural heritage project incubator, the center aims to commercialize intangible cultural heritage items and support the branding development. At its inception, it endeavored to reach strategic cooperation agreements with enterprises in all the fields. The center strives to promote intangible cultural heritage and realize its market value through resource integration and industrial chain operation.
