Secretary Du Jiahao Highlights Real Economy Development

　　On Aug. 2, 2017, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial Congress Standing Committee Director Du Jiahao presided over a symposium with some enterprise heads, to analyze current economic situation and listen to their opinions and suggestions on the following economic work, especially revitalization of the real economy. Provincial leaders Hu Henghua, Xie Jiahui, and Zhang Jianfei attended.

　　He emphasized, “We should study and comprehend the spirits of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches on current economic situation and tasks; stick to the basic tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability; adapt to the new normal development trends; promote the supply-side structural reform; and revitalize the real economy, to ensure stable and sound provincial economy development.

　　Secretary Du asked the CPC committees and governments at all levels to further guarantee water, electricity, gas, land, and other production factors and take multiple measures to lower the overall costs for real economy enterprises. “Government leaders at all levels should help enterprises resolve conflicts and problems in project implementation and strengthen services. An “intimate” “clean”, and new government-business relationship should be established and a better development environment created for the enterprises.” He added.
