Hunan, European Countries to Further Exchange and Cooperation

  Hunan Vice Governor Xiang Lili met with a delegation of senior officials from Central and Eastern European countries (CEECs) in Changsha on August 23, 2017.

  Xiang welcomed the guests and briefed on Hunan’s conditions. He said, “Hunan has prominent geographical advantages, rich natural resources, and sound industrial basis. There are broad prospects for cooperation between Hunan and CEECs in the fields of agriculture, education, health, culture, and science and technology.” He expected the delegation's visit would be a starting point for enhancing mutual understanding and closer personnel exchanges with Hunan, to promote future progress in pragmatic cooperation between Hunan and CEECs.

  Czech Republic Chamber of Deputies Speaker Senior Advisor made a speech on behalf of the delegation. He remarked that Hunan’s profound history and rapid economic and social development are a microcosm of China's great changes. The CEECs were willing to communicate and collaborate with China in the Party and local exchanges to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
