Central China (Hunan) International Agriculture Fair 2017 Slated for November

　　The Central China (Hunan) International Agriculture Fair 2017 will be held in Changsha between Nov. 18 and 24, according to a press conference on Oct. 13, 2017. It was said nearly 400 enterprises from 26 countries of 5 continents would participate.

　　Hunan Provincial Agricultural Commission CPC Party Leadership Group Secretary and Director Liu Zonglin introduced that the Central China Agricultural Fair has been successfully held for eighteen sessions, boasting both ‘quantity’ and ‘quality’ upgrading in exhibition scale, level, popularity, and achievements. More than 180,000 kinds of agricultural products displayed at the fair with a turnover of more than 230 billion yuan. And the event has received more than 21 million visitors, facilitating thousands of national agricultural products and brands to go global.

　　Themed “Green and Brand, Communication and Cooperation”, the Fair this year is aimed at creating an intelligent agricultural expo ecosystem and six approaches such as policy watch, information dissemination, and production and marketing promotion according to the national “Belt and Road” initiative, to expand the industrial scope and elevate the brand level.

　　“The eight exhibition pavilions this year will cover 110,000 square meters. The exhibition scope will expand to intelligent agriculture and agricultural machinery, livestock and other industries, to comprehensively extend the agricultural industry chain，” an organizing committee head said. The “Yuan Longping Agricultural Expo Award” will be awarded for the first time to promote agricultural products modernization and branding.
