　　The 2017 China (Hunan) International Rail Transit Expo &Summit Forum (the Expo) kicked off in Zhuzhou on October 24. Government officials, foreign diplomats, representatives of chambers of commerce, and related enterprises from countries along the “Belt and Road” initiative attended. They will discusson international rail traffic development with Chinese rail experts.

　　Chinese rail experts will share their views on rail traffic development and the “Made in China 2025” strategy. Fu Zhihuan, former head of the PRC’s Ministry of Railways (MOR) and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), will share his thoughts on the strategy of strengthening China through transportation. CAE member Sun Yongfu, a former MOR vice minister, will deliver a speech on China’s “Going Global” railway strategy. Song Minhua, vice president and secretary general of China Association of Metros, will report on China’s urban rail transit development.
