Hunan Large Service Industry Operating Revenue Growth Rate Ranks 3rd Nationwide

　　In the first three quarters (Q3), 4,773 service enterprises above designated size in Hunan Province achieved operating revenue of 214 billion yuan, an increase of 18.6% over the same period of previous year, ranking the third nationwide. The Hunan Provincial Bureau of Statistics released the data on November 7, 2017.

　　The Hunan service sector above designated size has witnessed a steady growth trend. Among the 33 industries, 32 gained more operating revenue except for the water conservancy management, and 80% maintained double digits increase. The main business service industries achieved total business revenue of 55.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.1%.

　　The operating revenue of service enterprises above designated size in major areas, such as those concerning sci-tech, production, high-tech, and strategic emerging, also maintained double-digit growth.

　　The operating profits of Hunan service sector also kept increasing, with a cumulative profit of 18.7 billion yuan in the first three quarters and an increase of 14.5% over the same period of last year. The operating profits of 14 industries surged by more than 20% year on year, including air transportation, postal service, Internet and related services, software and information technology, resident service, and culture and art.
