Du Jiahao: to satisfy people with work on education

　　湖南日报11月21日讯（记者 冒蕞）今天上午，全省县域内城乡义务教育一体化改革发展现场推进会在郴州资兴召开。会前，省委书记、省人大常委会主任杜家毫作出批示，要求全省各级各有关部门以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，加强党对教育工作的领导，坚持优先发展教育事业，落实立德树人根本任务，深化教育改革，缩小城乡教育差距，办好人民满意的教育。省委副书记、省长许达哲出席并讲话。

　　On the morning of November 21, the meeting on promoting the reform of compulsory education for urban and rural areas of Hunan province was held in Zixing City, Chenzhou City. Du Jiahao, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress, made a directive requiring on the departments at all levels across the province to strength the leadership of CPC in educational work under Xi Jinping's idea of socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era, to insist on prioritizing the work for education, to implement the fundamental mission of morality education, to deepen educational reform, to narrow the gap between urban and rural education, and to satisfy people with education conditions. Xu Dazhe, deputy secretary of CPC Hunan Provincial committee and governor of Hunan Province, attended and made a speech in the meeting.

　　杜家毫在批示中指出，义务教育是教育工作的重中之重。推动城乡义务教育一体化发展，是决胜全面建成小康社会的重要基础。许达哲强调，要深入学习贯彻党的十九大精神，真正把教育摆在优先位置，把推动城乡义务教育一体化作为重中之重。

To promote the integrated development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas is an important basis for the decisive stage of building a well-off society in an all-round way. Xu Dazhe emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress, put education in the priority position, and to promote the urban and rural compulsory education as a top priority.
