10th Hunan Postgraduate Student Innovation Forum Opens

　　The 10th Hunan Postgraduate Student Innovation Forum opened at Jishou University on November 25, 2017. The Hunan All-for-One Tourism and Innovative Tourism Development Forum kicked off the same day. Teachers and students from 13 universities around the province participated.

　　The Forum was hosted by the Hunan Provincial Academic Degree Committee, and the Hunan Provincial Education Department; and co-organized by 14 Hunan universities, such as the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT), the Central South University, and the Hunan University. It aims to further promote innovation education among Hunan postgraduate students, and enhance their academic communication and innovation capability. By these means, postgraduate education will facilitate the national innovation mechanism development.

　　The Forum highlights innovation-driven development and social requirements, and stresses the leading role of teachers. The theme was “Exploration and Innovation”. The Forum strives to establish a high-level and multidisciplinary communication platform for postgraduate students, in order to contribute to developing an innovation-oriented Hunan.

　　In the past nine sessions, Chinese prominent academicians such as Zhou Guangzhao, Jin Zhanpeng, and Huang Boyun, attended and delivered lecturers.
