Du Jiahao, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress, came to Changde City for his research trips from March 26 to 27, 2018. “抓重点、补短板、强弱项、防风险”，是杜家毫此次常德调研的主题。在与常德市领导班子座谈时，杜家毫说，做学习习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的有心人，决不能身体进入了新时代，脑子里还是老套路。坚持民有所呼、我有所应，切实回应解决群众反映强烈的突出问题。
"Focusing on key points, strengthening areas of weakness and preventing risks" are the subjects of Du Jiahao's research trip in Changde. During the discussions with the leaders of Changde City, Du said that all levels of governments shall be the cadres with the ideology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. 康普药业、华乐食品、龙行天下运动用品、三特机械制造、迪文科技、长牧食品……，杜家毫深入常德经开区和汉寿、桃源两县，考察了多家企业。
Du went to Changde Economic Development Zone, Hanshou County and Taoyuan County for inspecting a number of enterprises including Kamp Medicine, Huale Foods, Longxing Tianxia Sports, Sante Machinery, Diwen Technology, Changmu Food, etc.
杜家毫说，今年是省委省政府确定的“产业项目建设年”，全省各地要把更多精力用到谋产业、兴产业上来，大力推进产业项目建设，振兴发展实体经济，用一个个具体产业、具体企业和具体项目，推动湖南高质量发展。

龙行天下运动用品有限公司共有员工3000多人，项目全面建成投产后，可提供就业岗位1.2万个。考察中，杜家毫说，湖南是人口大省，要做好承接加工贸易转移这篇文章，把考核的“指挥棒”更多指向就业这个指标，吸纳更多农民工特别是贫困人口就近就业。
