Changsha's first shared library to open in July

　　Harmonization+ Library, the first shared library in Changsha, will open to the public on July 1, offering locals a great place to read books and pass the time.

　　Co-sponsored by local enterprises, academies and non-profit organizations, the library is located near Yuyan Lake, Yuhua district and built around a philosophy of sharing. It aims to promote book sharing, reading and participation among residents of the central Chinese city.

　　The library organizer is currently carrying out a book collection activity that calls upon locals to donate their books on- or offline. All donated books will be on the library's shelves by opening day.

　　Readers will be able to freely read books in the library or borrow them and take them home by scanning a QR code on the books.

　　Apart from being a place to read books, the library will allow local enterprises and public institutions to organize training activities and hold exhibitions and forums.

　　Organizers will launch reading activities and bring booklovers together to compare notes in the library, and develop online discussions where people of all backgrounds can share and exchange ideas.
