Fastest Metro Train Rolls off Production Line in Hunan

　　According to the CRS Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd., the first test train for Shenzhen Metro Line 11, with the best appearance in China, has rolled off the corporation's production line on July 4. Line 11 employs the A-type metro trains (22.8 meters in length and 3 meters in width) with 8 carriages, compared with 3 or 6 carriages for ordinary metro trains. Among the 8 carriages, 6 are ordinary ones and 2 are specially designed carriages based on airport requirements. The train has a maximum capacity of 2,564 passengers. The maximum designed speed and operating speed of the train can reach 120 km/h, which is regarded as the fastest oversized metro train in China. In terms of green operation and energy saving, the train can achieve noise reduction and braking energy recycling, making it the quietest train in operation in China.
