Egrets Flock to Miluo River

On August 8, a group of egrets were foraging in the wetlands joining the Miluo River and Xiangjiang River, which is within the Yueyang Quyuan Administration Area. As the Hunan Provincial People’s Government promotes No.1 Key Project on Xiangjiang River protection and treatment, Xiangjiang River watershed has been showing gradual improvements. Every year, tens of thousands of birds including egrets inhabit the Quyuan Administration Area, making it a paradise of birds.
