Middle-season Rice Harvested in Shuangfeng County

A villager in Jingzi Town of Shuangfeng County is drying grain.

　　Shuangfeng County has been popularizing the middle-season super hybrid rice & ratooning rice project this year, taking soil testing and fertilizer recommendation and professional treatment of rice pests to manage rice field. Based on the sample yield monitored by the local agricultural bureau and statistical bureau, the average grain output of middle-season rice is expected to reach 605.9 kg per mu (about 0.067 hectare).
