Huang Lanxiang Calls for Hong Kong – Hunan Youth Exchange

　　Huang Lanxiang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met in Changsha with the delegation of the Hong Kong – Hunan Youth Exchange Promotion Association led by the Honorary Chairman Mr. Irons Sze and the Chairman Liang Hongzheng on the morning of Oct. 9.

　　Huang welcomed the guests and remarked that Hong Kong is playing an important role in supporting Hunan to blend into with global economy on the occasion of Hunan’s continuous opening-up and endeavor to build a powerful and prosperous province. Meanwhile, Hunan has become a popular choice for Hong Kong’s start-up. The Hong Kong – Hunan Youth Exchange Promotion Association, as a significant platform for Hong Kong and Hunan youth exchanges and collaboration in economy and trade, science and technology, and culture, has contributed greatly to Hunan-Hong Kong cooperation. She expected the Hunan Youth Federation and the association would keep close ties to expand young entrepreneurs’ exchanges and cooperation, to promote substantial economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and Hong Kong.

　　The Hong Kong guests attended a local promotion conference in Yueyang and investigated representative local enterprises. They then visited Yanghu Lake Headquarter Economic Zone in Changsha as well as Zoomlion, Wasion Group and Farsoon High-Technology Co., Ltd. They hoped to take the complementary advantages of Hunan and Hong Kong’s industries to promote youth exchange and cooperation.
