IKEA shopping center enters into Xiangjiang New Area

　　 The contract of IKEA shopping center is signed for entering Xiangjiang New Area, in the north of Changsha City. The contruction of the shopping center will be completed in 2019.

　　 Rednet ( Changsha ): Yi Lianhong, member of Hunan Provincial committee of CPC and secretary of Changsha Committee of CPC, met with John Tegnér, president of IKEA in Changsha November 19 for signing the contract of Ikea’s entering into Xiangjiang New Area as the fourth shopping center in China. 　　

　　 According to the contract, IKEA Shopping Center will be located in the economic area of Yanghu Lake with the total area of 300,000 square meters and a total investment of nearly 4 billion yuan, Ikea shopping center will be a one-stop regional shopping mall with international standards by IKEA furniture stores, supermarkets selling fashion products and electronic devices, with functional services of sports, dining and cinemas. IKEA funiture and household store is expected to open in May 2018, IKEA shopping center will open in 2019. The expecting tax income is estimated at 180 million yuan per year.

　　 IKEA Shopping Center project will bring 5,000 jobs in Changsha , with more than 20 million visitors per year. The project covers about 15 international fashion brand stores and introduces 100 national and international stores to Hunan market. It becomes the largest regional shopping mall project in Hunan province.
