200,000 People Benefit from Well-being Projects, Linwu

It was learned from Linwu county that 1.86billion yuan investment was placed by the county in 2015 on the construction of 100 “well-being projects”, such as increase of income, social security, settlement, culture and education, ecological construction, and etc. It helped to drive the economy with 3.39% increase, which benefited over 200,000 people.

The county placed employment and entrepreneurship as the foundation of well-being and took active actions on carrying out 15 projects which can help to increase people’s income. It also handled out some technical trainings, dispatched some technicians to grassroots to assist local people’s entrepreneurship.16.08million yuan small entrepreneurship credit loans were released by the county, which helped 1100 people realized their entrepreneurship dream and promoted local employment as well. At the meantime, 16 social security projects were carried out in the county, which helped to build 20 caring centers for stay-behind children, save 55 poverty stricken serious mental patients, facilitate 363 disabled people with supporting equipment, reconstruct barrier-free facilities to 23 poverty stricken disabled families, and settle 176 legal aid cases. All of those grant local people with safe guide.

Furthermore, it carried out 22 settlement projects in 2015, such as reconstruction of rural dangerous houses, resettlement of immigrants, low-rent housing, shanty town, and etc. In order to promote the development of well-being projects, it kept implementing strict supervision and assessment mechanisms.
