Sany Builds Start-up Incubator in Changsha

  Amid the global economy slowdown, it is considered that start-ups can play a major role to support economy, so Changsha, the capital of Hunan province and a city based company have come forward to help start-ups grow.

  On Jan 12, a new incubator for local start-ups has been officially activated in the provincial capital. Mayor Hu Henghua announced the initiation of Sany Zhongzhi Xincheng program in Changsha National Economic and Technical Development Zone. The program has been launched by Changsha-based Sany Group, China's largest machinery manufacturer, in view of the national "Made in China 2015" and "Internet Plus" initiatives.

  At present, the first phase project has completed a built-up area of 12,000 square meters and around 40 start-up teams associated with intelligent manufacturing and Internet fields have settled in.

  Sany Group plans to invest 2 billion yuan ($304 million) to manage supporting platforms for key industries. It will provide promising venture projects access to financial services such as loan, surety and financing.

  Changsha Mayor said during the launching ceremony that the municipal government will provide policy support and high quality administrative services for the advancement of the project.
