Changsha Municipal Museum held a “Changsha-style New Year” exhibition during this Spring Festival. Colorful activities were innovated to show thousands of visitors Changsha’s folk customs and distinct culture for New Year festivity, such as lantern riddles, paper cutting, dough figurine, sugar painting, and Xiang embroidery. In the museum playground, an innovated calligraphy projection game attracted crowds of audiences. It projected participants’ brush writings on red lanterns, making an integration of traditional Chinese calligraphy, Spring Festival culture, and modern technology.

Beyond that, Hunan celebrity calligraphy exhibition, returned cultural relics exhibition and Tibetan Buddhism treasures exhibition were organized from the third day to the seventh day of the lunar New Year.
