Han Dynasty Tomb of Couple Discovered in Ningxiang

The above photos taken on the morning of April 19, 2016 show that archaeologists work at Han dynasty (25AD-220AD) tombs in Shibei Village, Datunying Town, Ningxiang County. The tombs consisted of 48 brick-chambered tombs and 10-odd pitons. 13 have been excavated till now. One of a comparatively large brick-chambered tomb, which dated back to the middle and late Eastern Han dynasty, was believed to be a tomb of couple. 25 mortuary objects such as 5 pottery tripods, 5 knives, swords, and axes were unearthed.
