Hunan Industrial Enterprises Boast High Innovative Strength

Industrial enterprises of Hunan Province obtained high capability in innovation. The innovation forms are rich and the level of innovation activity show an active and growing tendency, Hunan Provincial Bureau of Statistics told reporter on June 1. The conclusion was based on an investigation of 13,723 Hunan industrial enterprises above designated size made by the bureau.

Of all of the investigated enterprises, 6904 have taken innovative activities, accounting for 50.3% of the total, 3.5 percentage points higher than the national average, making Hunan top the central China and ranked 7th nationwide in this regard.

Enterprises' innovation was mainly manifested in products, technics, organization, and marketing. The first two belong to the category of technological innovation that will contribute a lot to the promotion of core competitiveness of an enterprise.
