Tujia Ethnic People Celebrate Sheba Festival

The Xiangxi (Longshan) Tujia Sheba Festival 2017 was held at a cultural square in Xichehe Town of Longshan County on April 11. Tujia people in the county dressed in festive costumes, singing and dancing.

　　The Sheba Festival is an important traditional event of Tujia ethnic group living in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It is observed for worshipping ancestors, and wishing for a prosperous year.
