　　On behalf of China latex industry, Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics guided the formulation of international standard ISO17717：2017(E) Specifications for Metero Balloons for the first time, which fills the blank of guided formulation of international standards in China latex industry.

　　红网时刻1月5日讯（记者 冯钧 马灿 通讯员 张璟）“下一个五年，我们的销售收入和利润总额要比现在翻一番。”日前，中国化工株洲橡胶研究计院有限公司（以下简称株洲橡胶院）党委书记、总经理孙建华接受采访时表示。

　　Zhuzhou, Jan. 5 (Rednet)--“In the next five years, our sales revenue and gross profit will be doubled.” Sun Jianhua, secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of ChemChina Zhuzhou R&D Institute for Rubber & Plastics (hereinafter referred to as Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics) stated in the interview.

　　1999年，株洲橡胶院成为国家第一批转制的科技企业，上马了第一个项目——医用丁基橡胶瓶塞生产线。但由于种种原因，造成严重亏损，在2003年资产负债率高达140%。

　　As one of the first-batch scientific enterprises of transformation in China, Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics launched the first project, namely medical butyl rubber stopper production line in 1999. But for reasons, it faced serious loss, with high asset-liability ratio of 140% in 2003.

　　他们痛定思痛，停掉了这个项目，开始集中精力做好主打产品——探空气球。经过创新突破，2005年企业终于扭亏为赢。

　　Then Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics stopped this project and began to focus on its main product sounding balloon. Through innovative breakthrough, it restored profitability in 2005.

　　2010年8月，中国气象局承办的世界气象组织（WMO）第八届国际探空仪系统比对实验在广东阳江举行。株洲橡胶院生产的华一牌气象气球凭借出色的性能，一举超越气象气球最强国日本的同类气象，在世界各国惊艳亮相。

　　In Aug. 2010, the WMO 8thInternational Sonde System Contrast Test undertaken by China Meteorological Administration was held in Yangjiang, Guangdong. Its Huayi metero balloon stunned among similar metero products, including the most powerful Japan in metero balloons.

　　随后，华一气球走出国门，开始了与日本产品的竞争。目前成为全球第二大探空气球供应商。他们还代表中国乳胶行业首次主导制定了国际标准ISO17717：2017(E)《气象气球规范》，填补了我国乳胶行业没有主导制定国际标准的空白。2017年，公司的“气象气球”入选“全国第二批制造业单项冠军产品”。

　　Afterwards, Huayi balloon entered the international market and competed with Japanese products. Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics has become the world’s second largest sounding balloon supplier. On behalf of China latex industry, it guided the formulation of international standard ISO17717：2017(E) Specifications for Metero Balloons for the first time, which fills the blank of guided formulation of international standards in China latex industry. In 2017, its metero balloon was selected as “the second-batch single champion products in China manufacturing industry” .

　　到目前为止，株洲橡胶院共完成各种科研课题300多项，获国家级和省部级奖励的项目有60多项。共主持起草1项国际标准、10多项国家标准和20多项化工行业标准。共获得30多项专利授权，其中发明专利近20项。探空气球已占据国内市场份额80%，同时远销俄罗斯、法国、美国、德国、英国等40多个国家和地区，占据国际市场20%的份额。

　　So far, Zhuzhou Institute for Rubber & Plastics has completed over 300 scientific research subjects, including over 60 projects awarded at national, ministerial and provincial-level. It has organized drafting of 1 international standard, over 10 national standards and over 20 chemical industry standards; it has got over 30 patent licensing, including about 20 patents for invention. Its sounding balloon has occupied 80% domestic market share, and 20% international market share, well-received in over 40 foreign countries and regions such as Russia, France, the US, Germany, the UK, etc.
