Hunan Airports Begin Summer-Autumn Flight Schedule

  Hunan Airport Management Group announced, on March 26, that all airports in Hunan will implement their summer-autumn flight schedule between 25 March and 27 October 2018.

  There are 54 airlines providing flights. Each week there are a total of 4,956 scheduled flights which is an increase of 13.2% over last year. Hunan has air connections with 121 cities and 254 flights, a year-on-year growth rate of 18.4%.

  Changsha Airport:

  Plans to implement 179 regular direct routes to 113 cities domestic and foreign airports. This includes 33 regular regional international routes. Newly-added domestic destinations include Karamay, Yining, Jiayuguan, Xinzhou, and Nanchong; as well as other international destinations such as London.

  Zhangjiajie Airport:

  Plans to add flights to 36 domestic and foreign cities. This is seven more than last year and now includes Guiyang, Jinan, Jieyang, Xuzhou, Hefei, Nanchang, and Haikou.

  Changde Airport:

  Will add 16 domestic and foreign cities. Eight domestic destinations new, including Zhuhai, Chengdu, Lanzhou, Xi’an, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, and Wenzhou cities.

  Huaihua Airport connects with two new domestic destinations to Beijing Nanyuan and Qingdao.

  Yongzhou Airport will start flights to three new domestic destinations: Guiyang, Sanya, and Fuzhou.

  Seven domestic destinations are connected to Hengyang Airport, including Zhuhai, Jinan, Tianjin, Jieyang, Lanzhou, Dalian, and Beihai.

  Shaoyang Airport will being three domestic flight destinations to Shenzhen, Xi’an, and Lanzhou.

  This season will focus on developing Southeast Asian tourism routes and supporting foreign airlines progress in Hunan, with the hopes of realizing the strategic development goal of making Changsha Airport a regional international hub. The Changsha Airport is scheduled to achieve a yearly growth rate of 8.6% in international and regional flights.
