Each household in the community is given away garbage bags with QR code and waste sorting scorecards. Residents scan the QR code that will correspond to their households’ information, and swipe the scorecard to place garbage into the smart garbage bin. Then the garbage bin will automatically calculate residents’ scores that are uploaded onto the cloud platform; residents can exchange awards with their accumulated scores.
