Dongting Lake Treatment Takes Effect

The photo, taken on November 28, shows the water in front of Yueyang Tower, among half red and other half shiver waves; and the trees on the lakeshore. The lake looks particularly colorful and beautiful. This year, Yueyang City has taken the Dongting Lake as a main focus for ecological environment management. Great efforts have been made on water and air pollution treatment, and sand control. From January to October, the ratio of 7 water quality monitoring sections in the East Dongting Lake that met the standard reached 98.6%, up 8.6% over last year.
