Religious Representatives Across Hunan Gather in Changsha

Representatives from provincial religious organizations in Hunan took an inspection tour to Changsha on February 25. They spoke highly of Changsha’s great changes in economy and society. CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Standing Committee member and United Front Work Department director attended relevant activities.

They visited Changsha CEC Software Park, Zoomlion, and Meixihu International Culture & Arts Center. They learned about Changsha’s great changes that have taken place in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up. Through the study tour, they had a better understanding of Hunan and Changsha’s condition, and further strengthened their confidence in upholding the leadership of the CPC and sticking to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Tan Xiaoping said that Changsha will develop activities on learning President Xi Jinping’s important speeches on religious work; guide religious figures and believers to unswervingly follow the CPC’s leadership; further give play to the role of religious organizations; and make concerted efforts on the building of a modern Changsha with high-quality development in an all-around way.
