Shenzhou, Tiangong, Chang'e shown at China Aerospace Achievement Exhibition

　　The China Aerospace Achievement Exhibition – Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, opens at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center. (Photo/Liu Yang)

　　The China Aerospace Achievement Exhibition – Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, opened on April 23 and will last until April 29, 2019.

　　The exhibits include:

　　Shenzhou-11 re-entry module, Shenzhou spaceship parachute, spacesuit for extravehicular activity (EVA), and models of Chang’e-4 lander, and Yutu-2 moon rover.

　　Changzheng (CZ)-2 simulation launching, and some interactive displays based on VR and AR technology, enable the visitors to experience China aerospace development.

　　The exhibition is composed of aerospace photography exhibition, scientific popularization, aerospace achievement exhibition, and aerospace industrial enterprise exhibition. The exhibition area reached 11,000 sqm.

　　The area for scientific popularization is 4,000 sqm. There are Shenzhou-11 re-entry module, Shenzhou spaceship parachute, spacesuit for extravehicular activity (EVA), and models of Chang’e-4 lander, Yutu-2 moon rover, and Queqiao relay satellite. A total of 61 exhibits of six categories, together with panels and interactive exhibits, are on display. Visitors can watch a simulation launching of Changzheng-2F rocket, and try their hands at the interactive displays.

　　The exhibition is guided by the China National Space Administration (CNSA), and China Association for Science and Technology, and organized by the Chinese Society of Astronautics, and China Space Foundation. It is open to the public free of charge. Visitors can get free admissions with valid identity documents.
